Pranayama – Yoga of Breath

Pranayama is a practice to control vital energy (prana) through the breath. In this 3 hour introductory workshop we will discuss what prana is and why having a pranayama practice is important for maintaining optimal health and well-being.

You will learn and practice 4 foundational pranayama techniques, and be guided through a vinyasa flow and meditation incorporating some of the techniques. After this workshop, you’ll leave with an understanding to begin or deepen your own practice to tap into the subtle aspects of yoga.
